These audio converters convert S/PDIF and/or Toslink digital audio to and from unbalanced stereo line-level or between S/PDIF and Toslink digital formats. The decoders take an HDMI video signal with embedded audio, pass the HDMI to an output to feed a display and decode the embedded audio to give analogue surround and S/PDIF or Toslink decoded outputs to feed equipment such as audio receivers.

Out L: Connect an RCA cable from this port to the left channel input of the A/V device.
Out R: Connect an RCA cable from this port to the right channel input of the A/V device.
In Coax: Connect a coax cable from the digital audio source to this S/PDIF port.
Optical: Connect an optical cable from the digital audio source to this TOSLINK™ port.
Optical / Coax: Use this slider switch to select between the Optical input or the Coax input on the Digital Audio to Analog Adapter.
DC 5V: Connect the included power supply to this power receptacle.
